Farewell, Sarah

Today, it is with absolute sadness and an incredibly broken heart that we farewell Sarah, after a five-and-a-half-year battle with lung cancer.

This morning, her brave little body decided it was time to rest.

Sarah, you are the most driven and stoic person I have ever known. When we reflect on what kept you here for so long—defying every expectation and prognosis—it was undoubtedly your extraordinary fortitude as a mum, and your unwavering focus on your two beautiful children, Sophie and Charlie. They were your strength, your purpose, and your guiding light through everything.

We are going to miss you more than words can ever express.

We will think of you in the sad moments, when the weight of your absence feels overwhelming. We will think of you in the happy moments, when your love and laughter are woven into everything we do. We will remember, reflect, and hold close the countless special memories we were so lucky to share with you.

But for now, please rest.

Rest easy knowing that we’ve got this. Team Eade will remain exactly as you left it—with the strongest bond, an unbreakable love, and a deep commitment to supporting one another in your absence. Your love built that foundation, and it will carry us forward.

We love you. We miss you. And we always will.
