(written by Jade Dyson)We swam 11.2km this morning and took a couple of medals home in the process. Race report: We quickly formed a group of 3 from the start, Callum won the first lap and the two boys took it in turns to sit at the front each lap after that (albeit leading me in a zig zag all over the course), they dropped me at 4K (note: plan to stay together has clearly gone out the window). I chip away the next 3.5K on my own before I realize Callum has been dropped by this other guy and is on his own now. Ha serves you right! We meet up at the 8k mark we swum the last 2km together, as originally planned 😉
