We Did It !

Updated: Aug 10

I am thankful and humbled to say that the waves of the North Channel allowed us to dream big and cross from Ireland to Scotland yesterday.

The team, swim, weather, experience was just amazing!

Some Numbers;

Time: 11hrs 40 mins

Distance: 42km

Water temperature: Between 12.9- 13.9 degrees celcius (55 degrees Fahrenheit)

Swimmer number: 100(That’s right, only 100 people have conquered the North Channel!)

Gender number: 60

Nationality number: 4th New Zealander

Nationality Rank: 1. Fastest kiwi.

Thank you to my friends, family, sponsors and the global OW swimming community.

I do really love this sport!

I’m off for a Guinness. Let’s worry about what’s next tomorrow. Today, we pay thanks.
